Trevor is one of the most accomplished student-athlete graduates from the modern era of athletics at the University of California at Los Angeles. Within years of his UCLA graduation, earning dual undergraduate degrees and multiple ALL PAC 12 Academic Team honors while serving as a premiere offensive Fullback for UCLA Football, Trevor embarked on a medical sales career that earned world-class status and to his founding of partner-based and self-funded Manamed Inc.

Trevor's experience as an athlete, his business acumen, and his personal drive to serve others have all come together to make Manamed a leading provider of medical devices.

Trevor Theriot

John Lasso is an accomplished healthcare entrepreneur with broad experience in orthopedic and surgical areas of healthcare. As a Manamed co-founder, along with Trevor Theriot and Joseph Horton, and a VP of Marketing, John is committed to providing high quality innovative medical solutions while promoting corporate culture based on ethics, cooperation, professional development, and outstanding customer services. After a successful sales and corporate leadership career filled with numerous rewards and recognition, John started his own medical business in the DME billing space in 2005. He later merged his company, Makena Medical, with another successful Southern California company, Team Surgical, creating Team Makena, a leading DME provider. With over 25 years of medical sales and management experience, John has acquired a vast professional network that includes some of the most successful and accomplished individuals and organizations and is skillfully leveraging his knowledge and expertise to contribute to Manamed’s growth.

Raised on the Hawaiian island of Maui, from an early age John has been instilled with the Hawaiian culture and values. With strong believe in treating people the way you want to be treated and as a way of giving back to the community that played an instrumental part in his development, John supports organizations in California and Hawaii that contribute to children's education. John’s cultural heritage is behind the company’s name as Mana in Hawaiian culture is known as life energy and power that magnifies through meaningful work, good relationship and the service you lend to people.

John Lasso

Joseph Horton is an outstanding medical sales executive, Manamed co-founder and a Vice President of Sales. His expertise uniquely combines professional knowledge of sales with deep understanding of medical science. As a degree holder in both Biology and Business Administration, Joseph maintains an ongoing interest in advances in medical science and technology.

A Jackson, Mississippi native, Joseph started his career in medical sales with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Southern California as a Therapeutics Territory Representative in 2004. After working with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Joseph moved into disposable medical device sales with Sage Products as a Sales Representative in Los Angeles, CA. While building strong relationships with many of the LA area’s most prominent hospitals including Cedars Sinai, UCLA and Kaiser Permanente. He also worked directly with GPOs (Novation, Premier, Tenet) by successfully securing agreements for new products. Later, Joseph worked as a Vascular Manager with DJO Global for the Western Region. Under his leadership, several key programs were developed including a vascular sales, training, and education programs that was incorporated across the region. During his tenure with DJO Global, Joseph achieved several rewards including a recognition as a number one in the company for total dollar and revenue growth and twice as the Vascular Manager of the Year for 2011 and 2012.

As a partner in Manamed, Joseph is thriving for developing and manufacturing innovative products that improve clinical outcomes and deliver superior results. His strong interpersonal and professional skills including collaboration with surgical, DME and orthopedics representatives along with experience with FDA 510k product approval and market launch, serve as a great resource and major catalyst for Manamed’s continuous growth in the industry.
